Canada Day!

We strayed from our usual plans and stayed home away from the crowds. It was a beautiful day that threatened to cloud over but didn't. We had one of our favourite families over for dinner followed by fireworks in the park.

My favourite thing about Canada Day this year was two fold... my parents were in town to share it with and my father hung our flag using a hockey stick. How appropriate!
